What would be the one thing that you'd like people to do for you? For me it would either be help me get a job...or start treating me like an adult.

Accepting me the way I am instead of telling me the way I should be.

Believe in magic. Cynical people ruin everything for me. There's nothing wrong with being pessimistic or sad but when people are deliberately and constantly pulling other people and things apart it gets my goat. That's my one thing I'd change about people.

Not assume that I'm an idiot or treat me like one.

To leave me alone when I say I need to be left alone. For some reason that's when people start to try to really prod me. Some people even take it to mean I'm suicidal.

Leave me alone when I'm sleeping in my car.

To communicate more openly. Being honest and direct so I don't have to guess what is going on. Asking me instead of making assumptions. Not being vague or making insinuations. Plainly saying what they mean, and meaning what they say. Being true to their word.

I'm with you danum - I'd like someone to help me be able to find work and get as far away from anything connected to welfare as possible, and not to treat me like garbage while doing it.
