Wow i dont know why i thought of this years ago!

So when i was a kid, i used to like to hide in places that are small and dark (BUT NOT TOO DARK) places like cardboard boxes, under desks, behind the couch, inside tents, ect, you know kid stuff but i never really grew out of this.

For the past few months im trying to recover from a burnout that happened late september, this isn't the first time i burnt out before in 2012-2013 shortly after my diagnoses...

I made this dark den as a nice sancuary to go when im feeling a bit meltdown-ish or oversensitive ill go ino the den and draw and put on my headphones and stay in here with my dog.

Basically its my bed covered by blankets. heres what it looks like

I told you it was dark

Its really nice, i never really notice how overwhlemed i am until i go in the den and RELAX for once. Im hoping to put up some sonic drawings

i highly recommend making one!

I'm glad you have a place where you could escape from stress.

I can not wait until I have my own space to create a sensory room or corner.

I live in at least partial darkness when I'm home most of the time. Right now I am typing this with only the LCD screen of my laptop for light. Maybe it's part of the Intense World Theory, it seems that very bright light like the sun on a cloudless summer day is simply too much for us to handle.
