The fact that he flapped his hands is irrelevant.

Weird, Because Me and Einstein share many many things, Passion of Psychics, IQ of 160 (Even though the IQ test is hardly accurate).

Let's do this the easy way. Show me a source that says that Einstein flapped his hands. I've never heard of that before.

I've never heard of it---but if he did flap his hands, it just might have served a useful purpose.

If he did the Hokey-Pokey--even better!

If you are happy and you know it flap your hands.

On a more seroius note for people who are supposed so detail oriented it astounds me how often blanket statements are made that so and so is or was autistic or in this case has an Autistic trait. No proof, no caveats. Einstien flapped his hands, Einstien was Autistic, Gates is an Aspie(at least there is plenty of visual evidence he rocks back and forth).

When he flapped his hands he made "gravity waves" which are only being detected!

I don't think that he was being serious.

No, he achieved greatness by producing theories in Relativity that were decades ahead of any means to prove them.

Nope, they proved it in 1919, when They measure the distortion of the solar eclipse. :)
Actually, they just proved the last part of Relativity this last year. The announcement of proof of Gravitational Waves was last week after months of peer review and acceptance. So, it took more than a century to actually prove all of Relativity. And, we ain't even close to understanding all the implications.

Oh, gee ... so let's all flap our hands so we can all be just like Einstein ...

Except for one minor detail ... ALBERT EINSTEIN DID NOT "FLAP"!

Rumors to the contrary seem to be more lame attempts to attribute a negative behavior to a famous person who died before he could be officially diagnosed. Then it is a small step to claiming the positive behaviors of that famous person for one's self. In syllogistic terms:

a) Special Person had X behavior.
b) I have X behavior too!
am a Special Person too.

Get real ...

Yes. This is the kind of sensationalism and anecdotal (or pure fictional) evidence I was talking about.

Not sure how you came to this conclusion.

When I have racing thoughts and lots of ideas I flap my hands, rubs my thighs and jump in my seat.

But I am not so sure about Albert Einstein...
