Has anyone here had discrimination apply for work

I was embarrassed last year in January 2015 when I applied for a volunteer program with my social worker through a church and they wanted a criminal record check. When I told them I used to call 911 when I had bad PMS and the pastor I think said she couldn't accept me. I was crying and when my social worker apologized to me for what the pastor said I was angry at the moment and I didn't want her sympathy so I slapped her. Discrimination happens to people of all disabilities and mental illnesses.
