Do you think being autistic vs NT is sort of like being a wizard or a muggle? I think we *see* the world in different ways and even have a somewhat different essence of being.

Nah, we have a mental difference with pros and cons. Wizards basically have a super power, no down sides to that.
If anything I'm a Jedi! ....nah not really
A good analogy would be that "NT's" are more like social pack animals and aspies are more like solitary predatory animals in social nature. Both types have pros and cons. I could see that considering mankind's omnivore past and present, we're a spectrum in our social nature ways. We aren't necessarily leaning in either direction in a "next step in human evolution" sort of way, but just natural variation that has always existed since we're neither solitary nor pack dependent as a whole.
Or we are just a disorder . I don't know and now I'm wandering aimlessly in my thoughts.

Feyokien, I've been wondering the same thing lately.
In many ways Autism is a disorder compared to what's seen as normal, yet on the other hand it's a complete way of thinking and experiencing life all its own

Yeah it's all about perspective really. We'll see if the next five years yield any hard evidence on it these ideas.

Actually you can officially be a jedi.
I'm in the UK and in the last 3 censuses I've put down my religion as Jedi, which peaked at 390,00 way back in 2001.
May the force be with you, always.
I do know about that actually. A new nontheistic religion. Good philosophy to follow. I believe in it or something like it. Not in using the force like magic but the way Yoda describes it here:

Now that I know that I'm actually a wizard, and not just autistic, I'm going to start telling people. I think "I'm really a wizard," sounds like a much better explanation than "I'm autistic," for why I'm so odd and always screwing things up.
Obviously, being a wizard, I'm used to using magic everyday, so being around all these muggles and forced to suppress my magic is making everything very difficult for me. It's no wonder I'm having such a hard time.

^ I'd be kidding myself if I said I wasn't Sam Neill Merlin. I can't remember if the Merlin series was good or not, it's been since middle school since I saw it. Crap I forgot to read Disc Wars! That was on my list years ago and I never did.

If I have magic powers, they're clearly dormant.
I guess it depends on what you consider magic, like having a special talent or high intelligence or something like that. My cartoons and crafts are my "magic".
