I usually have a meltdown about once every 2 months, but now suddenly I've had two in the last 2 weeks. I just wondered how often everyone else has meltdowns compared to me...

I am not sure to be honest. I don't have them as often as I used to as a teenager because my hormones are better and I am an adult now and my anxiety has gotten better.

Something I wonder about too.

I used to get them around bimonthly but now it's more like a weekly thing. Not great.

The last year maybe 4-5 times. They usually came out as anger though.

When I have to go to work and associate with people?
Every two weeks.
Regular as clockwork.

If I take people out of the equation I rarely melt down.

i have strange mood swings most likely due to hormonal imbalance so where are certain parts of the month where i am more prone to a meltdown however that doesn't guarantee a meltdown will occur monthly.

I'd say on average every 3 to 4 months a moderate to severe one will occur but mild meltdowns can happen much more randomly and unexpectedly.

These larger meltdowns can involve crying, self harm, and suicide attempts. They are very dangerous and most of the time i will need to go to the emergency room

Probably once or twice a week. Some are worse than others.

It depends how severe Mild ones can happen often, moderate sometimes, but severe are rare. Often after big surprises or something of the like.

About once a year. They're getting less frequent and less intense, though.

I used to get them fairly often in grade school, but since then I rarely if ever have them.

It's been over a year since I had a meltdown, but shutdowns are more common for me.

The last time I had any significant episode was in high school. Once I got out on my own and was able to for the most part regulate stress levels in my life I rarely have any kind of issues. I will still occasionally lock my self in my room and turn off to the world for a short time when I get stressed, but that is more of a prevention then a meltdown per se.
