Most of my family wont support the fact that I have Autism and possibly even more. My mom and sister are the only ones that support me but at the same time get angry at me or want me to figure things out on my own. Today I didn't have anyone to take me to the doctors, because I can't drive nor have a license. My Grandma had to take me but was upset at how long it was taking to get the paper work together and wanted to leave. My grandmother is one of those the doesn't support my Autism but also cares about me.She told me that I would to get a DL this year so I could start driving myself around. I did drive for a little bit but scrapped my mom bumper a couple of times, haven't driven since. This is just today and it wasn't to bad but does anyone else have family that is non-supportive.

Did you try drivers education? So that you can learn to drive in a car other than your mom's so you don't have to worry about damaging it so much that it hinders your ability to learn to drive?

I did took drivers ed and driving lessons. I was an okay driver. But I later got glasses which screwed up my depth perception. I haven't tried to drive since.
