I've probably got ADD. My psychiatrist gave me ritalin for it once, but the stuff just made me feel speedy.

In that case you probably DON'T have AD(H)D (unless the dosage was too high). Ritalin has a speedy effect on people without AD(H)D. People that have AD(H)D respond to Ritalin differently. It makes them less restless.
I am undergoing tests to see if I have ADD and Aspergers. I use Concerta 36 mg and it seems to work for me. After all those years of thinking about 30 things at the same time, it's so nice and quiet in my head with only 3 thoughts, it's easier to focus, I'm less hypersensitive and I don't get stressed out by people so much anymore.
At first I thought it was a miracle drug, but it's not. It does help though and makes my life a lot easier.
