Next week I'll be getting some social support. I think it would really be helpful. It's with national autistic society the main UK autism charity. Has anyone else had anything similar or like a befriending thing?

Heard good things about them, but I believe that what they offer depends on what area of the country you are in, so I can't say much specifically.

It might be cool but I'm also slightly nervous because anything social can overwhelm me. For some reason I have trouble handling it. I only can handle purposeful interactions. Or I must be the one controlling the situation. I don't like people to try to understand me or get to know me, I want to know what they are about but not let them have power over me. Ppl can't get too familiar with me but by getting this support I'm basically doing that.... :|
