Do you do it more when you're in pain? ie. headache, earache
I don't know if I just notice it more because I feel crap, but I think I do it more when I'm sick.

You've been writing a lot of posts concerning health. I assume you are worried about it.
I bite my lip often and fidget sometimes, other than that I don't stim unless I'm anxious.

I generally don't stim except when I am stressed.

Sometimes noticing myself stimming is the first indication to me that I am stressed.

I think anything that makes me feel a bit more stressed and makes life harder makes me do it more.

I rock back and forth and punch myself when I have acid reflux. It takes my mind off the pain in my chest. I also do this when I'm hungry and dizzy.

I think it's because I'm not feeling very well at the moment. I can get a bit paranoid as well.

Understandable, I would say keep calm and do something of interest but than in my experience when unwell interest leads to extreme repetitive obsession leads to minutia, gets messy. I don't really know people here to well so I can't really say much that might work for you other than try and keep a level head.

i'll do stuff to help alleviate a headache...

i also notice that i seem to rock when i'm trying not to cry... i look up and away and rock to stave off the tears.... once i can't i just let them run... i often don't make a lot of noise when i cry unless i'm really anrgy.

I stim when I'm stressed and/or am experiencing a large amount of sensory stimulation. Since I usually stay home in the quiet dark when I'm ill I tend to stim less actually.

I rock from side to side a little bit when I have an upset tummy or feel nauseated.

When I am feeling unwell due to illness I lie down a try to rock myself to sleep.
If I am sore because of over-exertion (very often where I work) I use a shower
massage thingy made by water-pik. (Very soothing :) :) :) )

I stim when I am stressed, but also if I am really really excited I shake my hands. I sometimes tap my head against a wall to relieve pressure, when nobody is looking of course.

Stimming when I'm feeling ill or in pain can sometimes make me feel worse, but I do tend to stim when I'm starting to have a panic attack (I have them quite frequently).

I dont think I stim more, just isolate more.Have less tolerance for people, noise, light.Getting sick makes me angry and I feel like.....I have always been sick and will always be sick....lose all concept of past and future.(yeah, illogical, but there it is)

It has the opposite affect on me. It can help relieve the pain sometimes, even things which usually, if I wasn't ill, would make me tired. I don't even notice I'm doing it sometimes though.
