This is Ghosthunter and I had to re-register another
name since OS X.2.8 wasn't allowing me to log in.
I tried it on both the Ghosthunter and Ghosthunter2
accounts, and to no avail even with a new account.
HEELLLLPPPP!! !! I will I assume I did nothing wrong
and I am using a PC to write this. This is not my
computer. and is to make sure you know why I have
been absent 1/2 this day.

What exactly happens when you try to log in under OS X.2.8? Does it tell you your login name doesn't exist? Does the site just not load? Is there a specific error message you could tell us?

It implies account doesn't exist and
logged off, or offline thought the emails
confirm the name Ghosthunter2. this also
it in my original name Ghosthunter.

I am currently reinstalling OS 9.1 but prefer
to keep X.2.8 for Safari purposes.

I have slapped together a 9.1 OS installation
and still don't know why I was not allowed access
to the site under X.2.8? But at least this sloppy
installation works.

This might have been caused by the problem with security settings, especially those related to cookies. Please see a thread about similar problems:

I have stabilized the sloppy and quick
OS 9.1 installation with both techtool 3.x
optimizing and Norton 5.x utilitizing.
I scanned all hardwares with techtool as
well and the patient is stabilized so long
as I don't throw in my favorite audio
and video(Harry Potter stuff made by fans,
and Moody Blues, Mr. Sinatra, Bjork, ect..).

I am getting online here at wrongplanet without
difficulty. I also plan to keep the Ghosthunter2
account alive so if this happens again I have
backup account like burning CD's from your
hard drive every 2 weeks so you lose no
data captured online.

Again, I say thanks for this thread clue,
and now that I have a backup account, I can
see options to connect to wrongplanet just
in case this happens when it is least expected.
