In my experience, the good ones ask you questions, and all you have to do is answer them.

May I ask what you're going for? Unless this pdoc is trained in therapy, you're likely just gonna get meds thrown at you. Not to say they might not help you, but in my experience, for pdocs the answer to everything is more meds. :?

It'd be good to find out whether this pdoc has experience with high-functioning ASDs or not if you're wanting to get a dx.

Good luck with the psychiatrist.

I work in a hospital and every psychiatrist I've met is at least a little big odd. That's why I get on so well with them :D

P.S. It's a good idea to take a list of questions or ideas you'd like to discuss.
