Would you say that you feel more aspie at times and less so at other times? If yes, are there specific things that will make you feel more aspie? Like things that act as a trigger?

I was feeling very severe, last year and it was really beginning to bother me. I think that I'm not as severe as I was last year.

I think so. Mainly when I'm anxious about something.

If things are not going the way I expect them too, or need them too, I climb very deep into myself and my asperger ways.

My AS is a lot worse when I am one or a combination of the following:

1) Stressed
2) Anxious
3) Spending too much time around people and not having enough 'alone' time
4) When I have too many things to deal with
5) When unexpected complications / delays / changes occur
6) When I am being treated badly or bullied
7) When I am upset or my depression is bad
8) When I have sensory overlaod
9) When something happens that scares or shocks me or 'makes me jump'.
10) When I have not had enough sleep / am tired
11) When I am unwell

I like how your number 8 turned into a smiley face. :D
I agree with all that though; those are the times when mine is worse as well.

I seem normal when operating in an area of strength, such as in my job. I know where everything is at work. Then, at home, I will do something incredibly stupid. I think to myself, "How can I function so well at work in a job that takes a fair amount of organization to perform well, and I can't find something right in front of my face at other times?"

Mine gets infinitely worse under stress. It has very bad recently, although I will say that on a good day I can make eye contact reasonably well as long as it isn't like face to face for a long period. I do not know what counts as bad eye contact as I can make it with certain people and hold it for some seconds as long as they are not slap bang opposite me.

I think it is related to anxiety and mood as well as who i am talking to... If I talk to someone about something i feel comfortable talking about then i get on a roll and the give and take of converstation is very good - you wouldnt even know i had AS... Sometimes though anxiety gives me andrenaline and i manage the whole social thing better... so i guess what i am saying is yes, my AS characteristics fluctuate in severity.

Pretty much.
I think bad times make any condition worse, I mean even Acne gets worse when you're stressed.
When I'm not stressed, I can be pretty friendly, I'll just not put up with irrationality but usually that comes off as just being honest. When I'm doing okay it just seems like I'm just a bit cocky and eccentric. I hide a lot of things so when I'm okay because of my arrogance thats really the only thing that you can get from me ( i've been told I just 'look' arrogant, smart and kind of weird ) you really wouldn't be able to tell I have AS unless you know me well. When I'm not so well it gets really hard and if you're observant you can tell.

I don't know many people, I'm only in constant contact with one person because I live with them and they say they've gotten used to how I act so they often forget its not just me being me. Than again, it really is just me being me. I've never understood how an 'illness' or something like that makes you NOT you especially if its something you've had all your life.

Over the past year I feel like my asperger's (or autism as I suspect) has become more severe in general.
However sometimes it does seem a bit more obvoius that usual; I have vocal tics, stim noticably and walk on my toes.

yes, it fluctuates. I see it in my AS son too. Stress, lack of sleep and sometimes it even seems like weather changes have an effect too. My son and I are both having an increase in symptoms right now. I'm not sure why. Wish I knew.

Today my biggest issue is typing up posts on this site then deleting them instead of posting and the ones I am posting I have to go back over them several times cause I'm mispelling, changing letters around and making terrible grammer mistakes. I feel really frustrated and struggling to express anything and everything.

I think there are definately times when I feel more aspie. The time when I'm not so aware of it is when I am imersed in one of my obsessions, or just being left to my own devices. I do feel it so much more in social situations, or when someone interferes with my routines/possesions, or just when I am stressed or tired.
