I created a vlog on youtube about social norms of our society and how people with autism don't fit in. So they are treated differently verses the way a NT is.

I know what you are saying, not being good with people is a huge disability and those who are good are privileged because they were born with more innate ability.
I think those courses breed resentment however,when you were listing the things that NT's can do I started to feel resentment which I then dismissed because resentment solves nothing.

Not everyone is capable of digging themselves out of trouble,its true.

The course you took also promotes a conspiratorial view of society which I don't think is true, I think it's just the majority preferring an easy life so they just want to be around people like themselves. I don't think people who help minorities or disabled people are conspired against by powerful elites.

I don't agree with everything that the course offered either but what it did do for me was make me self aware of all the things that can go on in society.

The power and privilege system doesn't just apply to NT vs people on the spectrum but to a lot of facilities in general. When I was at a meeting for work yesterday they talked about changing tables. For instance society only seems to have changing tables for babies and not adults who can't take care of themselves. Often times families and caregivers have had to change their child/client on the floor of a public rest room.

Now the system that I was referring to seems to come from stereotypes and ideas that are put into the heads of these NTs. Since autism and aspeger's is seen as a disability the other side is thinking "Can't." Now it's not that they are stupid it is more along the lines of a subtle lack of a good education in place which the media and bad teachers pound into place.

What I am doing is raising self awareness and I will be doing a solution/ how to video on stamping out these situations.
