What is severe classic/kanner's autism like?
what is it like to be on the severe end of autism spectrum?
like the person lives in a care home? the people at the severe end of the spectrum can still love Movis, Nintendo, Nintendo 3ds and youtube and deviantart as much as less affected people

I doubt that people on that end of the spectrum would be able to communicate to others what it's like in an effective way sadly.
I've worked with quite a few "severely affected" people with autism and they vary a lot. Many I've met have seemed to be often very happy particularly when things were going their way. But could get incredibly distressed when things weren't. YouTube seems to be common especially watching part of the same clip repeatedly.
Some people might attack a person just for coughing, another want to grab you so they could sniff your hair, another have a fixation with clocks and what the time was. So many different personalities.
What I love about people like that is they are so themselves, with absolutely no facade or bullsht, and for that I kind of envy them.

Actually, you'd be surprised. Have you ever heard of Carly? She was able to communicate through writing, but she was considered as very severely autistic. I haven't checked up on her recently, seeing she had a struggle with this a while back though. I assume it's probably a challenge not being able to get your point across or to communicate with others. That's the biggest frustration for them of all. THey get easily agitated because they want to speak, yet they aren't able to do so for reasons unknown. It's sometimes hard for me to express myself verbally as well. I was one of the lucky ones who responded quite well to Speech therapy. Otherwise, I might have been considered as severely autistic if I didn't.

I sense that it is extremely frustrating for people with severe autism.
Because of sensory sensitivity issues which could cause physical pain. Because of neurological issues which can cause a distortion of one's vision.
Some of them self-harm themselves. Why else would somebody self-harm his/herself if the person wasn't frustrated?
I'm glad the Internet has provided a way for at least some people who are "trapped within themselves" to communicate with the outside world.

If one is "severely autistic," and is a Level Three Autistic, one usually has intellectual disabilities which interferes with them learning academic subjects.
Many times, though, they can learn how to take care of themselves in basic form--like washing, toileting, dressing, etc.
It's a misconception that Kanner's autism was the most severe autism, most his subjects were verbal. Anyway, I have no idea what it's like to be on the most severe end of the spectrum, but Carly can tell you. Aside from low intelligence she's about as severe as it gets. As Crazybunnylady said, it's important to note that even at the most severe end of the spectrum there is still a range in personalities, everyone is unique.

My autism was considered severe up until I was 8 years old. I was nonverbal and non-responsive. But my cousin who is practically like a twin bro, was somehow able to figure out what was in my mind behind all that. He was very good at translating my unspoken wants and needs. Made it easier for everyone. My memories of those times isn't very clear. But was kind of like being in a box. Just basically trapped wanting to break through. One of the worst parts was people talking about me like I was unable to understand what they were saying.
