I have a hard time talking to girls. I often just don't know what to say and things are just plain awkward. With guys the conversation tends to flow better. I wish I got along better with girls because I'm sick of friendships being ruined by hormones.

As I understand it you're lesbian.

So for you taking to other young ladies is equivalent to straight women talking to guys, or to straight guys talking to girls. Its complicated by possible sexual attraction. Except that it maybe even more complicated than that- because with hetero folks the person of the opposite sex that a straight person engages in conversation with may not reciprocate your attraction to them (or vice versa) but at least heterosexuality itself is an accepted thing among the hetero majority.

I haven't met you in person. I have no idea whether you're feminine or not.

It's more likely that you're feminine than you're masculine.

An informal mental survey by me leads me to see folks talk more to the "opposite sex".

I found I grew during a time I purposely talked more to strong men.

Yeah I used to enjoy talking to men more too, until about a year ago when I met more mature girls (ones who didn't constantly talk about the clothes they were wearing). I really think it's more about the individuals than their gender.
