Hi,
Just called my doc and he said I might have Schizotypal PD. So I was kind of searching around and came across "Schizotypal Autism".Wikipedia article

I literally have every single symptom. Docs were always guessing around about what I have but mainly they said either Asperger's or Schizophrenia so this "schizotypal autism" stuff makes huge amount of SENSE.

Does anyone here have it? I read its only diagnosed in Finland and Russia and some other countries. But the fact that it's not in ICD doesn't matter to me much.

Please tell me everything you can about it. Is it rather AS or Schizophrenia?

Possibly Aspie (diagnosed by an autism expert, doc moves abroad, forced to change docs and all say it's schizophrenia NOS or schizo-affective disorde or personality disorders. initial doc was a colleague of uncle Simon btw. you do the math.). (edit: by Uncle Simon I mean Simon Baron Cohen. Just to clear things up.)

Look at the work of dr Sula Wolff she says schizotypal disorder is autism by another name.

I have mild schizophrenia. Basically I have moderate autism and severe dyspraxia and mild schizophrenia all at the same time. Three problems that overlap each other. Like with the dyspraxia, there are things with schizophrenia that sound like autism. I have been messaging with someone else autistic that has schizophrenia and when he described how his schizophrenia affects him, my thought was "but that's what autism does". So I mean it gets confusing as to what does what or what causes what, because they all have similarities.
