hello
im an adult that struggle all my life with social difficulties,
and have some character traits and quirks (in compartment to most people i know & meet)

i took some online AQ tests (several times) i got score between 36-40
when any scour above 32 considered Aspie.
(also took the AQ-10 test with similar result.)

so i was sort of glad to finally confirmed what i knew all along,
im different. :)

but then i found this more complex quiz test of 120 question.
to determine neurodiverse and neurotypical and.. now im a-bit confused,
i don't know how to interpret the result.
could you help me figure it out ?

test result:
Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 90 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 122 of 200
You seem to have both neurodiverse and neurotypical traits

so what does it mean positive - negative, or somewhere in between or both? :?

thanks YD
PS English is not my native language, but i hope im clear.

I believe these tests judge your perception most. I have gotten both traits and neurotically results yet I'm dignosed aspie

I assume it tests how neorotypical\neodiverse you are at certain things. So for perception your NT score was 8, but your ND score was 6, for relationships your NT score is 2 and your NS score is 4. So I guess the traits that have higher ND scores are the ones that are more indicative of with having ASD.

So the ones that probably stand out are perception where you're more NT than ND, also communication you are very NT, then in terms of people skills your tend more towards ND with social and relationship traits.

These tests are not the end all be all of ASD, it can be a small peek into weather looking into a diagnoses is needed or not but these quizzes are not made to diagnose people. Seriously though, its as reliable as taking a online I.Q test.

So no one on the internet can say for sure if your autistic or not. Only a full psychological evaluation by someone who can recognize the different ways autism presents itself can tell you for sure.

I would not take this test too seriously because when I was a kid I took a autism test from doctors and it took many hours to finish. This is just a cheesy free online test for fun.

I got an AQ score of 38, but when I took the "aspie quiz" I originally got about Aspie: 120 and NT: 80 because I was a bot confused about a few aspects of the test. When I retook the test I got about Aspie: 150 and NT: 50. It's possible you could have done something similar.

Also, as a lot of people before me and the website that the test is on have said that test is not nearly as reliable as an actual diagnosis so take it's results with a pinch of salt.

Yes, the online tests aren't reliable except perhaps if you're either very neurotypical or very Aspie. You could have mild ASD. If so, even a full evaluation might easily be wrong, because it's not an exact science.
