Darn insightful article, thank you for sharing it. I loved the way both of the operating system analogies helped relate how I feel I fit in with the world. "I see my value," indeed. :)

Thanks, as a Linux/Windows user I really appreciated the operating system analogy the rest of the article helped me put into words some of the issues I struggle explaining. Wasn't sure if it was a repost though so I almost didn't post it.

Tired, so I skimmed it. Well-written and is seems others in this thread really relate to it. I'm afraid I can't. I've always felt I'm on the same "operating system" as others, but mine is corrupted. That's a simple analogy, but it works.
