Sometimes I get these deep states that are like a flashback when I'm trying to remember something. Is this something any other wrong planetonians (I think that's how it is supposed to be spelled) Have had states like this. It's a lot like a flashback, but I'm semi concious. It's kind of like half of a flashback. I don't think I don't have PTSD mostly because I doubt PTSD and ASD can coexist.

I've battled flashbacks for 5 months this year from February until the end of June. Once I got started on some hobbies, they went away. The types of flashbacks that I had were caused by my mum saying some pretty nasty things about my current special interests. That caused my to have flashbacks of my parents trying to raise the autism out of me in the 80s and early 90s. Those aren't very nice memories that I have about the way that I was scolded and disciplined regarding my interests.

I've always thought of flashbacks as a very visual thing, so maybe because of that, I've never had one. I'm completely unable to visualize anything. I've been through quite a few situations that may cause someone to have PTSD but I don't think I've ever had it.

I see it, but it's like transparent, I can still see whats going on around me, It's just shaded to what I'm seeing.. Its not like it is on TV. Yeah, as cockney said it is past trauma, so it's probably PTSD. That's my best guess. It is of past trauma.

Well, whatever the cause, sorry you have to deal with it. I'm sure it must be difficult.
