I never saw any of it. I don't care. There's too much pop music springing up from that crap. You know what happens? American Idol pits good SINGERS against each other. When they get out and start making CD's it becomes grossly apparent that they have a serious lack of band backing. I think that American Idol should showcase whole bands and not lone singers. So that is the primary reason why I don't care for it. Every time another Idol makes it big and gets on the radio waves they sound like crap because there's no good band to back their vocals.

She's a good singer and should have gotten it. Not the best singers this time around.

Once more, the Red States have rigged an election. Otherwise, don't watch, don't care. I hate the songs they do on these shows. Why can't they do a decent rock song instead of some schmultzy pop song?

Can't stand American Idol and it's gotten worse since Canadian Idol started too after that. There is an overkill of reality tv lately.

American Idol is the #1 reality TV show in the US, a group of contestants sing songs of a certin genra or decade every week, america votes by phone and text mesging, and the person with the least amount of votes leaves the show. this season alone, over a half a billion (not a typo btw) votes where cast, which is more than any presidental election.
