I'm just curious about this. If you're an adult, do you live independently or with someone? A roommate, family, partner, etc. :)

Currently living with family. That is difficult because they tend not to be very understanding of some of my behaviors. Moving in with my boyfriend soon though.

I live with my mom and aunt. They rarely are home though, so I most of the time have the place to myself. I'm hoping to move out and get my apartment sometime within the next year.

Temporary. I'm nomadic - I move around. I'm currently couch-surfing with some relatives in the country, having just lived alone in a flat in the city for a year.

Living alone in my own house, sometimes I live with my gf in her house, sometimes she lives with me in mine. We're taking it slowly with a view to full-time cohabitation in a year or two. Before that I've either lived with a partner or alone, and I spent a while living in a shared house with a few students and drop-outs.

What is it like? Pretty good on the whole. The living alone part gets lonely, but that's natural, and time with my partner, my son, and a few friends keeps it from getting too depressing. I don't have much trouble living independently, I've got an adequate, stable pension coming in and I've set most of the bills up to pay automatically via Internet banking, with just a couple of them that need doing manually every few months. The place gets a little untidy and I tend to accumulate too much stuff, but I never let it become really squalid. I'm a tad concerned about structural maintenance of the building and the central heating system, as I don't have money to waste and I don't know who to trust with these jobs, but so far the place hasn't collapsed and I think I'll be OK. I know how to use a washing machine and how to buy and prepare food and drink. I'm retired so I have lots of time to keep things in order. I keep things pretty simple. I'm still in good health so there's little need for the complication of doctors and tablets.

Got my own apartment, partially subsidized; that's not an aspie thing, nobody could afford an apartment in this town on what I get paid.

I live alone. I find it too stressful to live with other people.
