Youngest granddaughter is on lockdown due to her and her daughter's asthma . The other granddaughter is due to give birth any day now . When she does her and her mum(who's she's staying with) have to self isolate completely for a week for the sake of the baby .

All of the above are essential

I had a phone call from the council with a support number, but am not at all sure what help they provide .

I'm in Wiltshire but my situation is equally complicated. The s**t has already hit the fan. I can try and look for support. What is it exactly that you need and what is your age?

If you want me to call on your behalf, let me know and I will do so tomorrow. Feel free to PM if you would rather.

^ Did they say what the place you’re calling is called?

I’m on Wiltshire Councils website, the Covid-19 measures page to be precise and there’s a link to a list of voluntary organisations; further down the page a phone number for “Wiltshire Well-being Hub”, where it states that these are the people for food deliveries and ‘lonelines & wellbeing’: no details given, but both a phone number and an email address are provided.

If you can manage to call the number they gave you tomorrow that would be great. If you can't manage that then feel free to pass on your details to me via PM and I will happily make the call on your behalf. Let us know how you get on.
