I saw Steve Silberman, author of NeuroTribes (now in paper) interviewed on Australian TV. There was mention of highly functioning ASD adults mentoring children who are on the spectrum, and wonder if anyone has any leads on information about that, and more particularly how I might get involved.

May all beings be well.

I'll sign if there was a place to sign. Closest I've done is just volunteering at a mental health center.

I work in SpEd as an instructional assistant and I come in contact with with kids on the spectrum all the time. So in a way I kinda mentor them.

On planet FaceBook someone suggested visiting Big Brothers Big Sisters and asking if anyone on the spectrum is waiting for a mentor (in US).
