I don't think I've ever met anyone with ASD or didn't pay attention to any flaws ( for want of a better word ) they had.
You often read that people with ASD annoy people. Is this something that only happen's to NT's or does it happen to people with ASD too?

The ASD people that I've met are really annoying. Some were cool, one or two will end up being good friends of mine. But the rest (~10 of them) were really annoying. Basic things like eating with their mouths open, one guy ate like a frog and could be heard from the other side of the hall. Another guy talked way too much, and had no idea people weren't interested. I had to avoid him as any sign of availability to listen he would jump on, spamming you with facts about history (his special interest).

Now, NT's are also annoying, and also do all of the above. However, these people seem to be less common. For example, if you took two control groups with 10 people in each group. Group 1 was full of autistic people, and group 2 was full of NT's. 7/10 of the autistic people would infuriate me while 2/10 of the NT's would infuriate me. I hope that makes sense. Now it's arguably because of my heightened sensitivity to my surroundings that I find autistic people annoying, because of my own autism; ironic right. So I can't really speak for how NT's might find autistic people annoying, as I'm not one, and as they tend to be less sensitive to their surroundings and lost in their own lives.

I am frequently annoyed by others with ASD, especially those who stand in the way of any research or those who believe it is a gift.

I guess people with asc can be annoying, but I find that NTs are positively treacherous :(

If you have ever been in autistic classes you'll quickly see that yes, they most certainly can annoy one another.

Because people with autism often tend to see things as being black or white, they either totally agree with you or completely oppose you, there is often no middle ground. So-called NTs are far more likely to seek compromise. So for me personally I find autistic people to be far more irritating, inflexible, opinionated and annoying than so-called NTs, any day of the week, and other autistic people probably quite rightly view me in exactly the same way.

When somebody is inflexible, and doesn't bother to listen to your viewpoint, they are ANNOYING, no matter the "neurotype" the person is.

As you can plainly see on WP, people with ASD annoy other people with ASD on a regular basis!

I've been annoyed plenty of times by the stims and tics of fellow autistic students. I think the thing with being around it all the time is we are all more used to it.

A thing also that comes to mind are all the threads I see about how annoying NT's are. So I guess we're not all that tolerant of other's behavior.

Thanks for your answers.

Next question: If you have ASD do you find it easier to hide you annoyance at other people with ASD e.g. You know how ASD effects people so you make allowances

I can't tell if your trying to be funny or not. My immediate reaction was I laughed at you answer. From reading your other posts I'm guessing it was a serious ( no hidden humour ) answer.

I make "allowances" every day.

That's part of compromising. That's part of being civilized, really.

I make allowances for the "excesses" of both "NT's" and people on the Spectrum.

And I feel people should make allowances for me, as well.

Meet me halfway, so to speak.

Maybe it's due to the fact I have a mental illness but I give more allowances to people who are "unwell" but I find it drains me and makes me ill. After my last spell in a mental ward they said it was the wrong place for me and would only make me worse.

If you're around a certain mindset constantly, you usually absorb that mindset, whether you want to or not.

Could you potentialy absorb an ASD mindset and develop traits if you partner of 15 years had ASD?

Yes, I believe this could happen.
