A great description of NT’s

Listening to this i thought this a very apt and accurate description of the NT's that i meet on a daily basis walking my dog ...

It's a description of us human beings in general. We're not a separate species like the alien on the laptop. Despite the name of this forum and the fact there's a cartoon alien depicting us. I think I'm getting confused now.

This could be a great description of anyone, whether they're autistic or NT.

I always thought it was my aspergers that gave me morality and integrity something most NT’s where i live seem not to have…

I’m not conflicted in nature or seek out conflict in fact I do my best to avoid it.. Nor am I selfish in nature unlike most people on this planet. Nor am I aggressive, militant or hostile.. Baring these differences in mind I could literally be another species.

Both autistic people and NTs have a range of personality traits.

Your personality also doesn't change your species.

You're being rather judgemental and hostile, so perhaps you're not so different from every one else either

But yes, you can't just lump NTs and autistics together. Both groups show a great deal of variation. There are friendly NTs and nasty autistics.

What about people who aren't neurotypical but aren't on the autism spectrum?

While people on the spectrum do experience some things that a non-autistic person might never be able to wrap their head around, I still fall on the side of thinking we and NTs still have way more in common just as human beings, than not. We ARE still human beings, and so are NTs.

We do still share many of the same reactions, impulses, goals, wishes, joys and sadnesses.

Aspies and auties may have several key additional things or subtracted things or different things in our make-up, but still we are all human beings with more shared responses in life as NTs have, than not shared.
