My memory is beyond abysmal. Whenever anyone asks me, "How was your day?" I am usually completely lost for words. I never seem to remember anything. I take omega 3 and b vitamin supplements, but neither have had any significant effect on my memory.

Is it normal for those on spectrum to have extremely foggy minds?

Whilst I am not a particularly bright human being, it's disconcerting for me to live in such a haze all the time. Moreover, it doesn't help me in my efforts to find work.

What a bummer. About 4 years ago I felt I was having the same type of issue and after some research felt I was possibly short on B12. Later routine blood test showed this to be the case. So I amped up my B12 and felt as though there had been a noticeable gain in function (don't forget this was all in my mind) until, after a few years, routine blood test then showed I was significantly High on B12.

So although I then cut my B12 supplement in half, I was really nervous about falling into something like my old "memory fog." But surprise surprise ... no change in function (now what was I just sayin?....just kidding, just kidding). So I'm pretty pleased. Maybe the original "fog" was just some temporary thing????????? Anybody?

I have had many blood tests administered over the years, and all of the results concluded the same: my blood is healthy.

I have the same problem myself. It's funny I'll vividly remember some detail of landscape or architecture, but forget where its located. I completely forget movies or even that I saw them. I repeat myself a lot because I forgot I already said whatever.

I hate the "don't you remember?" question. My default reply is always going to be "no".

Are you really stressed out all the time? That could have a negative effect on your recall.

That sums it up nicely.

Ditto, here as well. One of my friends, also an aspie, and I remember completely different things which causes either one of us to be confused when the other references something said previously.

Well, I hope you don't get to the stage I'm at where I need constant supervision in case I turn on the stove and wander off, or forget to put on my pants or leave the door wide open with the keys in the lock.
They tell me this is normal with brain injury.

I'm assuming your referencing the slang term not the pokemon. Ditto the slang term means the same as saying same.

Many of those in the ASD population have executive dysfunction, meaning they have trouble with attention, memory, planning etc.

Maybe that's why? I relate actually, my memory is awful too.

1 instruction at a time is best, Might mix them up, if more than one.

Oh, the joys of a short term memory! No matter how often you watch a movie or TV show, there is always something new about it. The same holds true for books you reread. And everyone you meet is somebody new, even if you have been living next to them for decades. :D

Unfortunately, I suffer from this, and my chronic exhaustion caused by my other health issues makes it worse. Best advice I can give is eat somewhat healthy, get plenty of sleep, and get at least a little exercise.

Interesting, although I have little interest in Pokémon.
Indeed, I was referencing the slang term. I have a rather odd way praising things and word choice.
