Is it possible to have no special interest at times?

Yep....it's definitely possible.

I've had times when I had no "special interest."

Yep. Or at least feel no interest in your usual special interest.

Yes. kind of going through that now. music will always be a special interest and an on going thing, but I am looking for something new to lock on to.

I have absolutely no special interest right now because I'm so morbidly depressed I can't bring myself to do anything. I just stare at a wall all day wishing I would spontaneously combust. Normally I would be messing around with my microscope, but I just don't care at the moment.

I kinda quit having them after I started the med Neurontin/Gabapentin for my OCD.
