Child's grasp of character traits in stories
Hi, my daughter is 10 with Aspergers. She doesn't have a full grasp yet on social thinking and I can see she's finding some English homework exercises around describing a character's traits or putting herself in their shoes quite difficult.
Are there any apps or online programmes to help kids with identifying character traits in books/stories and being able to imagine how it feels to be a particular character in a book/story?
It should be something that could be mapped at a rough level fairly easily. Descriptions, words or facial expressions in a story could be linked to other possible associated traits as a prompt to explore the character.
