any aspies who don't have a consuming interest in anything?

Just out of curiosity. TIA

I have consuming interest in politics. I am intersting how Gov't and politics work. I have been interested in it all my life.

*Occasionally* I lack such an interest, but mostly there's something there... Dr. Who at the moment so complete lack of motivation to post on AS-related sites.... er..... bye....

It always changes.

Only consistent interest is music.

I don't really have one, I had a lot of them when i was younger, but I think I'm running out of all-consuming interests.

I can be very obsessive during conversations, and I had the occassional obssession as a child, but I really haven't had any one interest in a really long time. I guess I can thank my ADD for that. I can't really focus on one particular subject for more than ten to twenty minutes without it slowly becoming boring. As soon as I got off my ADD meds, I lost the concentration to have one particualr interest. I can have mini-intersts, where I'll try to learn something but not for more than a few weeks and not in that much detail. I taught myself basic HTML on and off in 3 weeks. Sorry to ramble...

My interests change every couple of months or so. Usually some form of history, literature, or art.

MINE ARE IN MUSIC AND STUFF LIKE THAT AND VIDEO GAMES

I have main interests and smaller interests. The smaller interests change about every few weeks to every few months. The main ones can last for years. I've only had two or three main interests in all of my 18 years. I've gone through periods without a main interest, but I always have a smaller one.

Right now, my interests are tuberculosis, General Grievous, and Japanese music. I think about those things almost all of the time. My interests usually change every few years.

not really. I have an equal intrest in nature and photgraphy, and i like taking apart machines and seeing if i can get it back toghether.

Also, I was learning about TB in school. big unit.

It really depends what you mean.. I quite possibly don't when it comes to something I'd want as a career for the rest of my life ect..

I don't have a specific obsession or interest, but I tend to get very caught up in whatever I happen to be doing and not realise how much time goes by.

Like I'll be browsing in the library and then suddenly find I've been standing there for about 4 hours and my back is beginning to ache from standing there so long.
Or I'll be surfing the net in the early evening and suddenly I hear everyone else getting up, making breakfast, and heading off to school or work.
