A few autistics I know do this all the time, including myself. I just cling my arms to my chest and bend my wrists down, kind of like a T-Rex.
"You do it all the time." Said one autistic guy I know.
"So do you!" Was my reply, and then we laugh at each other.

Lol! My husband used to do this!

A guy at work taught him to "swing his arms like an ape" when he walked, long before he was diagnosed as autistic. He now walks in a fairly neurotypical-seeming manner.

Another way to mask it is to hold something in your hands when you walk. Still looks a little off, but less off.

Always called it "meerkat arms", don't do it anymore, but did as a kid all the time. I don't think it had anything to do with autism, it had to do with wanting to be a meerkat.

I do the same exact thing and also call it T-Rex arms. I've seen other autistics in school doing it too.

Is "ferret hands" the same thing?

I do this too. But I have seen more NTs do this than autistics.

I do this when I want to be a furry animal. I will even scratch at doors and stuff like an animal as well
