Although i for the most time am very verbal, talking is an can be very exhausting. I have recently purchased an iPad and have bought an AAC app that works for me (its called Speech assistant, also available on kindle/android. On android its free but you can purchase new themes and on iPad it costs 9.99$, comes with all themes and colors etc.)

I am now wondering how i can use it when I'm out and about if i go nonverbal. Especially when i am with family and friends i dont know how i could explain it to them. Does anyone here have suggestions/experience on this topic?

I have it, but I usually end up texting. I have a message that tells my info if I get lost though.
