How hot is it there? It's 90*F/32*C here. I hate hot weather, too. I could turn the air conditioner on, I guess, but we're trying to save money. It's ridiculous for it to be this hot in May!

Its only 75F here in Vegas today. Normally its in the 80s and 90s, and by mid summer, 100s. I hate the heat normally, but its a dry heat here in the desert, no humidity.

I don't mind it... I don't like being sweaty and sticky, but I like the weather here right now in the uk...though I don't spend prolonged periods out in the sun.

It's only 80 (27 Celsius) where I am, and 84 (29 Celsius) where my parents are. Where do you live, wendytheweird?

Man, you guys have temperate weather in the UK! I remember when I was in London in the summer with my parents one time, people were complaining that it was 85 degrees (about 29 Celsius I think). That would be considered very cool summer weather in New York. Last summer I was in Arizona, and it was 108 degrees (42 Celsius) there. How cold does it get where you are?

Ugh! I hate being hot and sticky! New York gets so humid in the summer you feel almost like you're breathing underwater. You can feel the moisture in the air as you breathe, and paper actually feels damp.

It never gets below freezing? Do you guys never get snow, or does it fall and then melt? It's not unusual in New York for the temperature to get below 0 Fahrenheit (-17 Celsius), and where I went to college in Massachusetts, one winter it got to -50 Fahrenheit with the windchill (-45 Celsius). Exposed skin gets frostbite in ten minutes at -40 Fahrenheit. Needless to say we tried to stay inside as much as possible! I need to move to England! Now I know why Douglas Adams complains about New York weather in his Dirk Gentley books! It's still better there than in parts of the Midwest though- they have some enormous temperature extremes.

It's 27 celcius here right now and i love it 8)
It's suppost to be 30 tommorow.
The last few weeks it was too wet for my liking and the temperature had dropped to like 15.
Glad the summer has started back up again.

I agree with you though that sitting in a car is unbearable if your not moving fast.
