While I personally like the image, it really highlights 'different'. If that's what your organization is going for, you nailed it, if it's not then there's some work to be done, lol.

It implies that autistic people will always be a "puzzle."

Some people would like that. Some people like to be mysterious, enigmas.....

Yes, and without standing out so as to not ultimately be viewed as pariahs.

Puzzle piece still bieng there is the first thing I noticed.

Hands up seems like desperately pleading to me.

All the hands up meant everyone wants to participate (is how I took it).

I feel kind of indifferent to the logo, but I don't really have a problem with it. Apparently some people don't like the puzzle piece symbolism because they think it implies something negative about those with autism. That they're a puzzle to be solved, difficult to figure out, etc. I personally always interpreted it as autistic people being more intelligent and better at solving possibles. Perhaps I'm in the minority there?

"Our" arm is already grabbing attention by using bright, unnatural colours. I think it would make the point better if it were smaller than the others, and half hidden.

And how soon would it be compared to this image from The X-Files original series...?
