Again, these scores don't matter and probably don't tell us that much, but I'm still curious. What are your SQ (systemizing quotient) scores? Do you think the test is accurate? I know that it's not for children, but I took the test anyway because I don't care :D . My score is 104. Feel free to share what you got on the SQ and whether you think it is accurate or not. :D

Same here, to be honest. I just put random answers for them.

Hehe I guess you're a systemizer then!

Is that accurate for you?

Interestingly it was speculated he had Asperger's

Cool :D . Have you ever taken the EQ (empathy quotient), just out of curiosity?

81

Slightly high even for "males with an ASD".

Whatever.

Just took it. 17. Lower than I expected. I guess I'm mean.

Don't worry about it- my score is 20. I don't even know if these tests are "accurate." :D

My score was 79. Some things I strongly prefer to organize or structure, others I just tolerate as they come or they give me a headache.

It's a good test, but I think it understates my need to structure my environment and my aversion to enter unstructured environments. One example of my big need to be systematic is when I drive to a new place, even not far away, I go to great lengths to look at all the roads and intersections using Google maps, to make sure I can recognize the points at which I'll need to turn both going and returning. If I don't plan all that out and I make a wrong turn, I can get utterly lost. Another example is during my 38 years working in systems and software engineering, I always kept a detailed log of nearly every significant thing I did, down to details of how I edited code or steps I took in numerical analysis - I did that so I could reproduce and cross-check everything I did, if I needed to or was asked to. One more example is I can most of the time go directly to an object I put away years ago, but if someone moves it, I'm nearly hopeless to find it. I think the SQ test might miss some systematizing tendencies because, especially as I've gotten older, I have learned to compensate or just avoid the disorganized situations. Thanks for suggesting the test.

No problem :D . I get what you mean. Thanks for explaining it; it seems like the test is accurate in some ways, but in others- not so much. I don't know if it can be used as an accurate means of measuring somebody's "systemizing traits."
