Sensory Issues
Have you noticed that certain sensory stimuli affects you more?
For me, it's audio and visual stimuli. So being in a loud and busy public place with lots of people passing by, is the worst for me. I've found however that I'm not that sensitive to smell, touch, etc. I used to be more when I was a kid though.
Yes, I'm very sensitive to noises and light quality but not much to smells. The touch is the sense that connects me to the world the most and I have very strong feelings about different kind of touches: I hate sticky things, but love rough textures and defined edges.
Sometimes I walk with my eyes closed to rest them from the light, using only my touch, balance and knowledge of the terrain to move around.
