For people with autism, unforeseen events come as no surprise

Quote:
“To a person with autism, it seems as if they live in a magical world where things are happening seemingly without cause,” Sinha says. “If everything is magical, then even the truly magical things would not be seen as too out of the ordinary.”
I always describe myself as a very rational and logical person, I observe and deduce events and don't believe in magic or a higher power. I almost intuitively know how systems like computers and physics work but have no idea why people act the way they do. Through logic I can predict cause and effect and understand the world and not be surprised, I am surprised when something unpredictable happens.
There is a reason why Hans Asperger called his patients his "Little professors", I have seen many enjoy systematizing the world, invent new technologies or break their parents appliances to see how they work

We are a curious bunch!
I did read the article a couple times and maybe I misinterpreting something (English is not my primary language), what do you think?
