Hi. I'm due to have an ados assessment soon but not sure when. They put me as a priority. At first they got me to do a questionnaire (which i think i scored high on) my parents a questionnaire and 2 questionnaires for school. We also did a history interview assessment thing. I have no idea what those results came back as but they've decided to do an ados (they said they would if they had enough evidence from the assessments they'll do further ados) They describe the ados as "an assessment to complete the evaluation for the condition"

Does it sound like it's a high possibility I'll get a diagnosis from the ados?

Not knowing how you did on the tests, I don't think any of us can answer that any better than you.

I know in my case, having gone through the process as an adult, the first day I saw a psychologist, he said he thought I probably did have Asperger's, but once I said I wanted a diagnosis, he wouldn't discuss what he observed in any of the stages of the process until the process was totally complete.

At this point they haven't ruled anything in nor have they ruled anything out. I think it would be safe to say that there's something in how you answered the questionnaires that could, possibly, be explained by Autism and as such warrents further investigation.
