Why is it these people always on at weekends

I've noticed these what you call trolls seem to come on at weekends. why? Are they bored or something is it someone who is NT who just likes to say bad things it needs to stop it don't bother me but I'm sure it bothers others even if they ignore them.

Interesting observation that it happens mainly at weekends - maybe they are just bored, maybe they are unpleasant people - who knows?

I certainly agree that it needs to stop.

Trolls have jobs too.

(It would just be nice if they would stop spending their weekends being mean to people!)

It's now Summer vacation, some people now have too much time on their hands.
Remember these jokers thrive on our attention and our reactions to them.
What I do whenever I see one is I bring it to the Mod's Attention, then I leave the forum.

They used to hang around at Yahoo! in the news discussion forums. When those were closed a few months ago, they had to move on and spread the love.
I do sometimes feed trolls much in the way 419-baiters take on 419-scammers. Don´t debate them, have fun at their expense But only in moderate doses

I hadn't noticed that. I have been noticing a few trolls this past week, so I'll have to pay attention to what day it is.

While being very hesitant to post anything on a Friday, now...

This happens on a horse forum I belong to, also. And, during Easter, Christmas and summer breaks. I'm not slamming students... maybe it's the staff! j/k

im sure theres alot of people here who have as that get drunk on the weekends

My cat gets drunk and posts on WP.
I would try and stop her but, what with my really active social life, I just don't have the time to be watching her 24-7.
