Why do people have to have it? I can be sensitive to my cat meowing.

Because our brains work differently. Small things can be too much for us. It can be hard to deal with! I'm sorry you have it.

Only thing that I've got that I'm aware of is that tags on clothing drive me nuts. I've cut the tags off of nearly all my clothes.

Other than that, I don't have any sensory issues that I'm aware of, but then I don't have anything to compare with. I definitely don't have anything nearly as bad as what some people on this forum describe, but is there anything that is worse than what a neurotypical experiences? I have no idea.

getting touched, even lightly, startles and scares me.

my hearing is way too good. and sensitive.

sensitive hearing

loud noises annoy me and cause headaches

home depot. Xcelerator model. blow dryer. bathroom. 2. and at one home depot one blow dryer is within three feet of a toilet. so i go all the way out of my own way just to avoid that one home depot.

apparrently, nobody. or almost nobody else. has that problem. plenty of precious lil "people" use the blow dryers.

bathroom noise: blow dryer, flush toilet, loud talking, talking too much. precious lil "people" playing music and talking on the phone. at least once, someone had the nerve to ask me for a light. while i was on the toilet.

Wow those stupid hand dryers in the bathroom actually cause pain to my ears. It's funny that I never considered myself "sensitive" to things, but you really showing me how many signs I've missed in my life. I guess I just assumed the noise from those things bothers everybody and they just tolerate it like I do.

Aspie single dad :D

While nobody told me that the blow dryers did or did not bother them, & I ain't telepathic

I  feel pretty confident that the blow dryers do not bother many people

The rest I say that is because almost everyone appears to use the blow dryers. Many have the nerve to play the radio and talk on the phone. In the bathroom. They talk too loud and too much.
