Not being able too walk without help!

On nights out on the town some of my associates (who know I have autism) sometimes want too help me.

One of my friends who has high functioning autism himself wants too walk with me everywhere around town and some of my associates don't want me too walk back home by myself

Can you try give me and explination as too why there doing this too me? :(

Just tell them that you're okay, and that you can handle yourself.

I wonder if these people feel like you get into trouble in bars too often.

I was at this chilli food festival recently. I told someone in my group of friends that I was leaving too go cycling home and this girl (that I know very well) in the group went of looking for me when I left. I mean wtf :x

These kind of things would never happen too me 10 years ago. :(

Is the town unsafe in any way?
Was it after you had drunk some alcohol or anything else?
From the small amount of detail you've given its hard to understand why this is a bad thing.

Are they treating you differently than they treat each other? as if you must have extra protection?

Nope I was completely sober and I live in the most desirable town too live in England according too a survey.

My brother did say though that my aspergers makes me seem like I am drunk all the time :|

I don't know the UK customs but where I live it is friend's duty to walk their drunken friend home (or, if not available, to any other safe place). My parents told me this when I was 11oy, lol :D But I remembered it when the right time came.
So maybe you look drunk / exhausted and they just care for you.
