I'm not entirely sure whether this is the correct place to post this, but I'm in the process of editing a book I've written where the main character is a 20-something year old woman on the higher-functioning end of the spectrum (very much fictional, but based loosely on myself and some of my experiences).

I was wondering whether anyone would be interested in reading it and providing feedback particularly on the portrayal of the main character and one other character who is also on the spectrum, as I'm hoping to publish and want it to be as fair as possible in showing both positives and negatives of life with AS in a way that is hopefully relatable to both Aspies and neurotypical readers.

I've had good reactions from readers so far, and a short description one of them gave of the novel was that it's a "quirky bildungsroman that is beautiful in its weirdness. It is underscored by laugh-out-loud moments which make for a very comedic novel. The protagonist is an adult when she’s learning all the lessons she should have learned as a child/teenager. What makes it funnier and weirder is that the main catalysts for her learning these lessons are two young girls and the absence of her kid brother to guide her through life."

Any takers? :D
