Greetings everyone:

So I was scrolling through my YouTube feed and found the following video by one of my favorite people on YouTube. I am off and sharing these videos with my colleagues and sometimes my family, and this one just got me curious like typical Clickbait. This family is very supportive and such of the autistic member of the family by the name of Abigail and so in an effort to better understand some of Abigail’s stimming behavior, they actually tried a few. It brought better understanding to me watching the clips of Abigail doing it, and it also made me giggle a bit watching the non autistic family members give it a shot. Now I’m not laughing at anybody here, when I say I was giggling; I am actually saying “good job family for trying to get a better understanding of the autistic person in your life.” Got a love these guys and I figured I’d share this with you so that way you all can possibly share it with those you care about and also for the entertainment value that I saw in it.

I love that YouTube channel! I watch it everyday :D . That family is awesome when it comes to autism, and they also explicitly state in the video that they are not making fun of Abbie or autism in any way.

Yes they never do make fun of her. And just watching them give it a shot really put a smile on my face, when is the last time I ever saw my family give it a shot? Answer never. So yeah you got a love that family and if I could I would send him a care package.

@cfleischmann

I just wanted to ask about your avatar. Is that a typo ( I am a FIN ) or is it a joke or reference that I'm not getting?

I thought it was an ironic self-contained joke since it says, "don't get it twisted" when the assumed declaration "I'm a fan" is, itself "twisted" by the typo "fin". It makes you say, "wait a minute..." :)

That's why I asked , I wasn't trying to be a grammar nazi , I just wanted to get the joke if there was one - story of my life :roll:

Specifically the reason I say “don’t get it twisted” is because of the fact that some people misconstrue my super fandom to me trying to either one steal her identity and me become exactly her, or two that I am like this crazy stalker person. When no I’m neither of those things, I’m just a fan. Give me anything CF related whether it be video whether it be an exact replica of the shirt she’s wearing in that picture, whether it be an autographed photo, and I will be happy as a clam. She inspired me on such a level I legally got my name changed. So as I say to everybody else don’t get it twisted. I will admit, there is a small bit of a I had a crush on her before I met my fiancée, but even now, I still have a crush on the woman. My old fantasy as I previously stated is to have her and my fiancée holding hands well I just look at the Hands. I mean I might eventually join into the hand holding, but my odd fantasy is just watch them hold hands. I know I’m crazy. If there was a picture of her hand out there, just the hand; I’d probably have it on my phone’s background. Or if she were to ever hold my hand I would definitely enjoy that. Because I enjoy two things 1) CF and 2) hand holding.
