Me and my husband hang out at a "drop in center" for people with mental health issues. We met someone earlier and I found out today he's aspie. Only after that did I even notice he avoided eye contact... But I wanted to say "do you think I'm aspie?" But I didn't know how to approach this subject? I felt nervous around him wierdly!

The only wrong move is the move you didn't make. Suffer in silence if you want. I won't.

"Suffer in silence if you want. I won't."

"Suffer in silence if you want."

Okay... You are not in 12th century as medival Scotland facing the triumph of the English army... Please do not say stuff like that to random people.

(I am probably going to get my facts wrong. Someone give a better example).

Just wondering why you would want him to guess instead of just saying, "Hi, I'm aspie too. Nice to meet you."?

Maybe remove the "too" from my response then.

Or a Neurodiversity-themed T-shirt, might start the conversation more casually.

I overheard the guy say to someone else he was on the autism spectrum and was afraid to appear rude by showing that I overheard another conversation
