Best places to live for those with ASD and find/keep a job
What are some of the best cities/towns/states or even places in the world where there is a greater ASD community and where employers/companies are more understanding of our kind, so that we can be hired and kept around so we too can save money, have a great career, and possibly retire etc.?

I think that affluent, liberal and diverse places with low unemployment would be better for people with ASD, because in areas like that, there would be more opportunities for education and work. Well educated, socially conscious people are usually happier and more tolerant of others.
The worst places would be poorer, heavily populated areas with low educational attainment, high crime and unemployment. There are too many people looking for work and not enough jobs, so people with more generic, simple minded and compliant personalities are more likely to get hired than an "oddity" on the spectrum.
Unless you've been fortunate enough to have found a well paid, fulfilling job that enabled you to carve out a decent life for yourself, or you've been born into privilege, it's likely you will struggle financially.

I appreciate our reply and I actually just finished occupational therapy school. It’s one of the best and fast growing health car careers that is in demand so I shouldn’t ever be out of a job or have a hard time finding one anywhere so I PRAY and HOPE that I don’t struggle financially. My biggest fear is being able to fit in somewhere, keep and maintain a job. Though I don’t really get the typical work stress as other aspies or encounter the same stress/anxiety in general (I cope well) it hasn’t affected me in this work setting. I figured that the bear areas to live would be liberal states like California where there is a diverse population of people and provably many aspies. What do you think about what I have disclosed? Most of my teachers say I shouldn’t worry about getting/maintaing a job because I’m high functioning, but I still have those fears. I just wanna live a happy normal life. I think that’s fair.

But, if you find a well paying job that utilizes your unique Aspie Special Interest, you should take it even if means relocating a great distance.
I responded to the post above, but I agree with you and because I am in occupational therapy I believe there are many places that I would fit in and I’m willing to relocate if I have too. A lot of people I’ve receently met at school said that they had no idea I was on the spectrum and didn’t believe me at first until one of my teachers made it more clear to them along with me explaining the details. I suppose it’s good to be high functioning from time to time.
