Well, it appears, that I have done something very, very strange. I got a very peculiar result when trying out the quiz for the third time:

"You have answered inconsistently on too many control-questions"

That's an interesting result. Clearly I'm too unusual for the quiz to draw any conclusions at all (although, the answer in my signature seems kind of accurate). Am I the only one who's managed to break the quiz like this?

Years ago I was talking my therapist at the time. I was yaking about the Myers Brigg personality test, that other test ..the something or other "interest inventory test".

I was chuckling about the fact that they have questions like "agree or disagree: I am occasionally possessed by evil spirits".

My shrink blurted out that "that could be one of the control questions. They put certain questions in just to see if you're paying attention...maybe I shouldn't have told you that...but..."

Also if you notice on that autism test, and on most other test like that, they often ask the same damn question more than once, but opposite ways. Like "I like parties" and ten questions later "I hate parties". You might have "strongly agreed" to both statements - which would be a seeming contradiction. So either you were just blindly ticking off answers and not reading the questions. Or you have some kind of strange way of interpreting the questions that causes you to give what they think are contradictory answers.

A while ago I took some psychological tests, and one of the questions was, "My favourite poet is (some name I had never heard of)." I thought that was a strange question. But maybe it was just a control.

That IS an odd question for psychological test.

The only poet I can think of who might be a litmus test for anything is maybe Edgar Allen Poe. If you said "yes" to him being your fav then they might conclude that you're a goth, or a darksider. That, or just a Ravens fan. Lol!

I had that question on my assessment too!

I also hadn't heard of the poet, so I answered "Strongly disagree".

The RAADS-R is tricky with its yes/no format. Sometimes you just want to answer 'sometimes' .
