Hi everyone,

I have been at my job since July and since the very beginning I have had a disgusting manager who is inpatient with me, intimidating and says inappropriate things relating to my ASD such as in regard to my audio processing problems, she asks me things why I can do a task but not able do another task as if she is trying to get me to justify my disability, she also shouts at me when my motor skills and cordination problems affect a task.

Another member of staff who has now left put in a compliant against her, but it wasnt taken seriously and almost brushed under the carpet. She is really good friend who is on my side and she is going to act as a witness for me.

I have been signed off by my doctor for stress because I can't go back there, I am going to offer working on friday because she doesn't work on fridays or hand in my notice.

There's an investigation being conducted at the moment but so far management have been on her side, such as her manager not viewing this as bullying, and she tried to talk me out of going through with the investigation.

My manager is failing everyone around her and she is incompetent in every single way. I just wanna know why can't managers be fired for bullying? Especially bullying against someone with a disability. She is going to get away with this and and this will probably happen to someone else who works for her who has a learning/mental disability .

I read somewhere that 25% of people who make it to positions of management fit the psychopath/bully profile. So it's probably a question of how she was able to manipulate to end up in that position in the first place.

Managers can be fired, or at least disciplined, in certain circumstances.

If you are in a union, you should speak to your rep. If not, try speaking to the Citizens Advice Bureau.

If your going to make it official, do everything in writing/e-mails, and keep a record of everything that happens.

If the company is not taking reasonable action to stop bulling the you could possibly sue.
