I used to flatten out the foil wrappers for Dove chocolates so they were smooth and shiny. I even went so far as to tape six of them together into a delicate cube.

I get really out of control organizing grocery store shelves.

I can't help myself.

I thought I was the only one that did that with candy foils. Mine was Nestle Jingles and Hershey Kisses though. lol.

I can be pretty morbid, I enjoy looking at memorial stones, reading epitaphs, looking closely at the grass.
If I could, I'd collect old memento mori photos- but that would be sort of gross. I've always been fascinated by all the mystery's surrounding death.

Giraffes, yorkshire terriers, how people wore out their shoes-I would watch the bottom of their shoes as they walked! Also, the alphabetical library thing, also worked in a library when I was about fifteen. Car registration plates was another.

I never thought of it, but I do flatten out my candy wrappers. They're so pleasingly shiny! And although my books are not alphabetical, they're arranged by height and subject, I am very, very conscious of them being right at the edge fo the bookcase, smack against the ledge holding the books in. The house doesn't feel orderly if one of them's a few milimeters back of the others.

I did the library thing too, and quite enjoyed it also, despite getting in trouble all the time for reading the books. Seems like it is a common Aspie job then.

Ohhh morbid obsessions! I collect graphic anti-abortion posters. I've been collecting them for years because I want to make an entire wall in my apartment into a collage of anti-abortion pictures and paintings of famous civil rights advocates looking horrified and shocked.

But part of me doesn't want to alter any of the posters, they are like this special collection of ugly, unnecessary inaccurate informativeness.

They are my supplies for an art project I've been working toward for years and I can't do it. Even my fetus paintings, I can't put them all up there together until I get all of the right pieces and it's so stressful to think about it. I love it, I'm in love with the concept of the project but if it isn't perfect, I can't do it.

My favorite part was how smooth the candy wrappers were once I flattened them. I also use to take an empty ink pen and write on them...lol.

I arrange my books by height and general category. I don't pull them to the edge, but I do have to be sure that the fronts are even. I hate when books stick out at all different lengths because it looks so messy.

I considered a "flattening" successful if I manged to unwrap the candy and completely flatten the foil without any tears or wrinkles in the final product.
