How many of you here with an ASC ever "deviate"?

I don't know what else I can use than the word "deviate". But we all know and heard about those who achieved something unexpected because of any diagnosis or struggle they dealt with. I'm talking about people like Dan Ackroyd or that one hedge-fund guy (I guess?), or those who decide to go into politics (note for others, that I don't really want this for myself, I would rather not directly run or serve term in an elected position of government).

I don't think it really has to be a celebrity. But there are just some things that people say those with an ASC can't achieve professionally or otherwise.

I wonder what the people's experiences here are with that?

I flunked out of high school, went to the library, lectured to graduating engineers, and won a prize for a design that is still "too advanced" 30 years later. People are slowly working towards it, instead of just looking at a crude but successful prototype and refining it.
