People have made false accusations against me and spread rumors about me. I have been accused of being crazy and a man stealer. One lady spread rumors around about me texting her son. I have never texted her son and I have never really spoken with him in person either. What kind of false accusations and rumors have been spread about you?

Some people are just bored in there lives, hear things, hear things wrong, add spin on things, talk crap about other people rather than there interests, life, the world. I do not like gossip, rumours and accusations do come from gossip but mostly, I like to think people are good people and there is no malice in most of it.

How ever, some people are not right, some people are out and out nasty, twisted and manipulative. Long and twisted story that I shan't tell. I lost my best friend after been accused of asking his woman to leave him for to be with me. A lie, that she told him. She was a twisted little game player and the less we say about her the better but surly he knew and saw that, everyone did, not just me. But he believed it and him doing so broke the trust and respect we had, I had, for him. Good thing is, I am a better person for not having them in my life.

It is hard though, when your odd, different. People are more inclined to believe all kinds of things about you, when your a bit different.

That isn't fair they've spread false rumours about you. Try to keep positive and don't let them goad you into losing your temper.

Oh boy... When I was about 17 I asked a girl out and she didn't say no but gave an ambiguous answer of her being busy. I had an idea of where she lived because it was a small town so I waited near her house the next day when I knew she would be wqlknig home from school. I got accused of being a stalker and lost all 10-15 or so of my friends in one foul swoop. Not kidding. That was one of the events that have shaped my life. For years after that I was lonely and isolated.

My dad's brother accused him of having an affair with his wife. My uncle tried to say that my dad was the father of my uncle and aunt's son. Needless to say, my dad and his brother do not have a relationship at all these days. My uncle constantly lied about everything and he screwed us out of our inheritance when my dad's parents died.

I wish people would quit letting other people's lies and false accusations of me determine how they feel about me. I wish people would make the effort to get to know me on their own instead of letting other people determine their feelings towards me.

People always like to take the word of the cool person over the word of the weird outcast. I wish people could just give straight answers instead of vague answers that are up for interpretation. Just imagine how much easier our lives would be if people were honest with each other.

Yeah, I wish the same, that people would be honest instead of speaking in riddles. It's unfair people get into trouble because of bad communication.

I've had lots and lots of false accusations and rumors about me, they really upset me when I was a kid, less so now ahah. I really think people need to get more to do in their lives than harass other innocent people.

A few I can remember:
- That I was a lesbian with my best friend at school (shows just how awesome our friendship was ahah).
- People decided I looked like Michael Jackson, and so spread rumors that I liked fiddling young children, I was about 9 myself at the time.
- That I was a man stealer/slut, the guy in question hadn't told me he broke up with his gf (who I vaguely knew) just the week before.

Anyway sure there are many more, people seem to lack other entertainment, I am sorry they are being such idiots!

Families can be messed up, all it takes is for one member to be psycho to bring the whole thing down, ruin the whole dynamic.

I feel the same, just get to know the person. Everyone has a different perspective on reality anyway, you can not judge people on what other people, hear and think, yet people do all the time. And somethings are hard to shake, somethings stick, somethings no matter how hard you try to shake them, stay with you as a red flag to others.

I am painfully shy at times, so it is hard but your right. And it is not just been honest to people, it is opening up and talking and been honest with people. I have learnt that life lesson in the hardest way. Speak up, don't bottle up, speak up.

My Ex Husband has made many false allegations about me. I cannot deal with it as it always involves me as a mother so it hurts more and is also dangerous.

He recently lied to his friend who confronted me, that I was refusing to take my son to hospital. The reality was Ex H was stopping me and also refused to babysit the baby so I could go with the sick one. Finally his friend came to help so I was at hospital with kid

His lies could AlL be easily disproven if ppl let me round up all witnesses text messages emails and documents
And looked at everything they wd realize he lies and has a pattern of it. But most ppl wd not take the time. He is too charming and smooth with his lies. I am awkward and slow at processing lies.

The man stealer rumors bothered me because they seemed to spread all over my church as soon as the lady who started the rumors started attending my church. Married women seemed to avoid me more than normal and their husbands distanced themselves from me.

Living in a small town makes it that much harder to put the rumors and false accusations behind me.

People like your ex husband are pretty good at convincing others to buy his BS. I wish people would think for themselves and use common sense instead of believing rumors and lies.

I pulled my pants down at recess out in the field. My old best friend decided to tell this story top kids on the bus and they believed her. She told other stories like how I would hit and scratch her in second grade but she left out she would tease me and mock me and she fought with me too in school and on the bus. So she made it sound like I was a bully and I just picked on her and she was very innocent. And she did it every Monday morning for a few weeks while I would be at my appointment every Monday so I wasn't on the bus then.

I was pregnant, I am not sure how this got started at work.

I was engaged, I wasn't at the time but this was a rumor going on in my hometown after I moved away.

I stabbed a boy in class with a plastic fork. Started by a kid in 7th grade just to make himself sound cool.

I was a lesbian.

Rumors suck if they are allegations but if they are harmless rumors, no big deal. If something is a allegation and no one believes the person or it doesn't ruin your reputation because no one seem to take it seriously or they just give you fame for it, still no big deal.
